5·18 Democratic Movement Archives to Promote Exchange and Cooperation with the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] On the 28th, the May 18 Democratic Movement Archives announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History at the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History in Seoul to promote mutual exchange and cooperation.
This MOU includes ▲ joint efforts for the preservation and utilization of records on modern and contemporary Korean history ▲ cooperation to improve accessibility to modern and contemporary historical records ▲ planning and promotion of joint projects ▲ exchange of records and provision of institutional facilities, establishing a comprehensive mutual cooperation system for the development of both institutions.
Previously, on October 16 last year, the two institutions signed an MOU to hold a special exhibition in Seoul commemorating the 40th anniversary of the May 18 Democratic Movement.
