Helping Hands in Rural Farming: Sweating It Out During Harvest Season at Dongducheon Flower Farms
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi]NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 28th that the Risk Management Division employee volunteer group visited flower farms in Hwahae, Dongducheon-si, Gyeonggi-do to assist with farm labor.
On that day, the employee volunteer group worked hard by repotting flowers, carrying pots, and cleaning the environment to support farms struggling with labor shortages due to COVID-19.
Song Soo-il, Vice President of the Risk Management Division who participated in the labor assistance, said, “We hope to be of some help to farms facing difficulties due to labor shortages during the harvest season,” and added, “We will continue to assist with farm labor to promote the development of agriculture and rural areas.”
