'Tada' Runs Again... Launch of Substitute and Franchise Taxis
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] The designated driver brokerage service 'Tada Daeri' will officially launch on the 28th.
'Tada' operator VCNC announced, "Users will be able to access the new service through the Tada app." Additionally, the franchise taxi service 'Tada Light' will also begin its beta service on the same day.
Tada Daeri plans to provide high-quality service based on user evaluations. Before calling a driver, users can specify requests such as safe driving without speeding, no smoking before the ride, following the navigation route, quiet travel, and prohibition of informal or aggressive language.
VCNC aims to offer a service that satisfies both users and drivers through an incentive system where drivers earn more income as their service ratings from users increase.
The Tada Daeri fare is determined considering user demand and driver supply, and the fare does not change once the ride is confirmed. However, if the user requests additional stops after boarding, extra charges will apply based on time and distance.
The service area for Tada Daeri includes departure points in Seoul, Gyeonggi (excluding some areas), and Incheon (excluding Ganghwa County), with destinations covering all areas of Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon, including any stops.
The beta service Tada Light offers user-centered convenient and safe transportation with features such as immediate dispatch without ride refusals, transparent partitions enhancing safety and hygiene, safe driving, and a quiet interior.
