Nongshim Continues 'Kkang' Craze with 'Oksusukkang' Corn Snack
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Nongshim has released a new product, "Oksusukkang," to continue the popularity of its Kkang snack. This is the first new release in 47 years since the last sweet potato Kkang was launched in 1973, following the shrimp Kkang in 1971.
On the 26th, Nongshim announced that Oksusukkang was launched to strengthen its product lineup and continue the recent hot Kkang craze.
Oksusukkang is a snack shaped like whole corn kernels with a sweet and savory flavor. It features a fun, round corn kernel shape and a popping texture in the mouth.

Nongshim believes the longevity of the Kkang snack series comes from incorporating everyday favorite ingredients such as shrimp, potato, onion, and sweet potato into snacks. They developed Oksusukkang using corn, another representative staple food, to offer a flavor that anyone, regardless of age or gender, can enjoy without burden.
