"Rising Popularity of Nongshim in the US: Harry Harris, US Ambassador to Korea, Visits Nongshim Factory"
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Harry Harris, the U.S. Ambassador to South Korea, visited Nongshim's Noksan factory located in Busan on the 23rd to tour the ramen production facilities and hold a roundtable discussion with Nongshim CEO Park Jun and other officials.
Ambassador Harris's visit comes in response to Nongshim's recent outstanding performance in the U.S. market.
On the day, Ambassador Harris said, "There is growing interest in Nongshim ramen across the United States," adding, "This is a great symbol of the close relationship between Korea and the U.S." He continued, "Let's continue to produce many good products so that Korea and the U.S. not only 'go together' but also 'eat together' (we go together, we eat together)," encouraging Nongshim officials.

CEO Park Jun stated, "Next year, we will operate a second factory in the U.S. to enable American consumers to easily purchase a variety of products," and added, "We will strive to become a food company that receives even greater love."
