In an interview with CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show' on the 23rd, former Supreme Council member Lee said, "I feel a bit regretful about Governor Lee's comment, but I also wondered why the (People Power Party) lawmakers couldn't respond to it."
He added, "When Governor Lee tries to evade with flashy words, there should have been a sharp rebuttal. If I had been there when Governor Lee made that remark, I would have said, 'If you keep doing that, you'll be called the Together Communist Party.' I have to admit that Governor Lee's quick wit is outstanding."
Earlier, Governor Lee wrote on his Facebook, "Because they are engrossed in slander and agitation, they are mocked not as the People Power Party but as a burden to the people."
