[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Baegam Office of Naejangsan National Park under the Korea National Park Service (Director Lee Jaewon) announced on the 22nd that it will conduct an "Intensive Crackdown on Illegal Activities during the Autumn Peak Season" in anticipation of an increase in illegal and disorderly acts due to the surge in visitors during the autumn peak season.
The targets of this intensive crackdown include the collection of forest products, illegal cooking, smoking, bringing pets, and entering non-designated trails. Violators will be fined according to the Natural Parks Act. The intensive crackdown period will be from the 31st of this month to the 15th of next month.
