Education and Networking Support for Fostering Promising Robot Companies and Attracting Investment

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Heeyoon Kim] FuturePlay announced on the 22nd that it has signed a business agreement with the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement to provide specialized education and networking support for the successful investment attraction of promising robot companies.
The Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement is an institution under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy established to systematically foster the intelligent robot industry. On the 21st, the Institute and FuturePlay jointly held a specialized investment education and networking support event to strengthen the investment attraction capabilities of robot companies at Maru 180 in Seoul. Through this agreement, both parties plan to discover and support promising robot startups and exchange their commercialization capabilities.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ discovering promising startup robot companies ▲ cooperating in operating startup nurturing programs necessary for activating startups ▲ mutual exchange related to technology and market trends for win-win cooperation ▲ joint support to expand investment attraction for startups ▲ and discussing other matters to revitalize the startup ecosystem.
Moon Jeon-il, President of the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement, said, “We organized this investment networking event hoping to find a more efficient direction for the successful investment attraction of robot companies,” adding, “Through this agreement, we will establish a cooperative system for funding and investment attraction to help robot startups settle in the early market and contribute to the development of the domestic robot startup ecosystem.”
