'Hydrogen Mobility+ Show' to be Held in July Next Year... Participant Recruitment Begins
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The organizing committee of the 'Hydrogen Mobility+ Show' announced on the 20th that it has decided to hold the '2021 Hydrogen Mobility+ Show' for four days from July 6 to 9 next year at KINTEX and is recruiting participating companies.
The participants for this event are companies, organizations, and institutions possessing hydrogen-related products, technologies, and services in the fields of hydrogen mobility, hydrogen refueling infrastructure, and hydrogen energy. The application period is until April 30 next year, and detailed information can be found on the event's official website.
The Hydrogen Mobility+ Show was first held this July, attracting participation from 108 companies from 11 countries and approximately 12,000 visitors, establishing itself as Korea's representative hydrogen exhibition. Despite being the first event held amid the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it was successfully conducted without any confirmed cases by strictly applying quarantine measures.
Additionally, key figures such as Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Sung Yun-mo, and Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun visited the event. Notably, the Hydrogen Economy Committee chaired by the Prime Minister was held simultaneously, contributing to the activation of Korea's hydrogen economy policy by spreading a positive consensus on fostering the hydrogen industry.
A representative of the organizing committee stated, “This event aims to bring together domestic and international hydrogen industry capabilities and become a technology exhibition leading global hydrogen technologies,” and announced plans to hold a separate awards ceremony for this purpose. They also emphasized, “We will pursue this with the goal of being a networking exhibition where new policies and opinions are exchanged and a business exhibition where practical transactions are activated.”
