Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education Holds Opening Ceremony for 'Mathematics Experience Center' at Creative Convergence Education Institute
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 20th that it will hold an opening ceremony for the Daegu Mathematics Experience Center at 2 p.m. on the 21st at the Daegu Creative Convergence Education Center, attended by about 10 people including members of the city council's education committee and education officials.
The Mathematics Experience Center is a math hub space for math experiences that can be directly seen, heard, touched, and enjoyed, strengthening teachers' math education capabilities, and cultural activities for popularizing mathematics. Due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the opening ceremony had been postponed and the center has been operating mainly online since last May.
