A Man in His 40s Wielded a Weapon After Being Told "Don't Drink and Make Noise"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 40s who assaulted another resident and wielded a weapon after being confronted for making noise while drinking at a goshiwon was arrested by the police.
The Gangseo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 20th that they have arrested A (46) on suspicion of attempted murder and are currently investigating.
According to the police, at around 11:30 PM the previous day, A allegedly became enraged and punched B, a man in his 50s, after B scolded him for "drinking and making noise" at a goshiwon in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and attempted to kill him with a weapon.
B, who was taken to the hospital, is reported to be in a condition without life-threatening injuries.
