[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] “Food? Our village delivers lectures.”
Busan Gijang-gun has started capacity-building education for ‘Gijang-gun Delivery Instructors’ in preparation for the ‘post-COVID-19’ era.
A delivery instructor refers to an instructor who supports delivering lectures by visiting the desired time and place when more than 10 residents gather and apply for a lecture.
Gijang-gun decided to revitalize the learning atmosphere, which had been stagnant due to the suspension of ‘Our Neighborhood Delivery Lectures’ caused by COVID-19.
To respond to changes in non-face-to-face education in the post-COVID-19 era, capacity-building education for delivery instructors will be operated through online lecture methods.
The lectures will focus on how to use Zoom and strategies for developing various lecture contents suitable for the untact (contactless) era, and instructors who complete the training will be given priority when operating delivery lectures.
The education will be conducted every Monday in November from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for two hours via the online video conferencing app Zoom. Applications for the training can be made from October 26 to 28 on the Jeonggwan Library website, with a first-come, first-served recruitment of 30 people.
A Gijang-gun official said, “Through this training, we plan to revitalize the delivery lectures that had been stagnant for a while due to COVID-19 and strengthen the capabilities of instructors with various learning contents to take the lead in overcoming COVID blues.”
