On the afternoon of the 17th, JYP Entertainment released an official statement through their SNS, saying, "We would like to inform you about member Jeongyeon's health condition and her future participation in activities."
The agency stated, "Currently, Jeongyeon is experiencing significant tension and anxiety regarding her schedule," and added, "After consultations with Jeongyeon herself and the other members, it was determined that she requires absolute rest and stability, including additional professional medical treatment for her current condition."
They continued, "The artist's health is of utmost importance, and prioritizing this, we inform you that she will be temporarily absent from all schedules, including activities related to the second full-length album."
They also asked for fans' support, saying, "We kindly ask for your warm encouragement for Jeongyeon's speedy recovery."
