This meeting was attended by the Research and Development Special Zone Promotion Foundation, the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute, Changwon City, and others. It was conducted in a free discussion format to find the unique characteristics of the Changwon Small Giant Special Zone project and discuss ways to strengthen the competitiveness of future projects through business performance reports and listening to current issues.
Additionally, various opinions for the development of the Changwon Small Giant Special Zone were shared, including the shortage of company office space within the zone, the operation method of the Innopolis Campus Project responsible for nurturing prospective entrepreneurs, and future plans for developing the hinterland space of the special zone.
Ryu Hyo-jong, Director of the Smart Innovation Industry Bureau, said, "I believe that the Small Giant Special Zone project must serve as a solid foundation for Changwon's machinery industry to secure new growth engines and leap forward as a global advanced industrial city beyond Korea."
