WEMAKEPRICE Signs MOU with Korea Massage Therapists Association to Open Sales Channels for Visually Impaired Massage Therapists

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Wemakeprice is expanding online sales channels for visually impaired masseurs. Wemakeprice announced on the 16th that starting from the 20th, it will sell mobile integrated massage gift certificates serviced by visually impaired masseurs.
To this end, Wemakeprice signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with the Korea Massage Therapists Association on the 15th of last month. Wemakeprice provides benefits through the 'New Partner Support Program' to help massage centers affiliated with the Korea Massage Therapists Association settle quickly after joining. For six months, a sales commission of 4% (including VAT) will be applied to reduce the commission burden.
Customers can purchase two types of integrated massage gift certificates worth 30,000 KRW and 50,000 KRW on Wemakeprice, which can be used like cash at over 60 massage centers nationwide registered with the Korea Massage Therapists Association. Any remaining balance after use can be reused within the validity period.

A Wemakeprice official said, "As the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has severely contracted service industries involving face-to-face contact, visually impaired masseurs working at massage centers have been particularly hard hit," adding, "We hope this agreement will help visually impaired masseurs develop sales channels and revitalize their revenue."
