Two COVID-19 Cases Confirmed Among USFK Personnel
[Asia Economy Yang Nak-gyu, Military Specialist Reporter] The United States Forces Korea (USFK) headquarters announced on the 15th that two USFK soldiers who arrived from the United States tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
These soldiers arrived at Osan Air Base on the 2nd and 12th respectively, aboard US government chartered flights.

One tested positive in the first diagnostic test immediately after arrival, and the other tested positive in the second diagnostic test during self-quarantine. Both confirmed cases have been transferred to isolation treatment facilities within Camp Humphreys (Pyeongtaek US military base) and are receiving treatment. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases related to USFK to 227.
