The Seoul Central District Court Criminal Division 41 (Presiding Judge Jeong Do-young) ruled in favor of Nam in her lawsuit against Sungkyunkwan University seeking confirmation of the invalidity of her dismissal. The court judged that the university's refusal to renew her contract constituted unfair dismissal.
