[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-eun] YouTuber Jung Bae-woo, who revealed bodycam phishing photos of a man presumed to be Logan (real name Kim Jun-young), an instructor from the YouTube content 'Fake Men,' apologized on the 15th for the controversy over secondary victimization.
On the same day, Jung Bae-woo said through his YouTube channel, "Regardless of the truth, I think acknowledging my mistakes should come first. I thought I had reflected a lot, but I am still pathetic," and apologized, saying, "The original intention of my YouTube channel to help victims has become strange and turned into a monster."
However, he added, "I consulted a lawyer who told me that as long as the (bodycam phishing photos) were mosaic-processed, it would be okay to disclose them," and said, "Putting legal issues aside, people say it was morally too harsh, and after thinking deeply for several hours, I think (I was) wrong." He also wrote in the comment section, "What right do a guy like me have to criticize and point out UDT members... I am sorry," and "I am very immature and lacking."
Jung Bae-woo also apologized to Logan's wife. He said, "I am sorry to Logan and his wife," and added, "I wanted to be helpful to the world and try to live kindly, but I failed. I became someone who only criticizes others," and said he would delete the video.

Earlier, Jung Bae-woo, who runs the YouTube channel 'Jung Bae-woo: Incident and Accident Issues,' revealed a nude photo of a man on the 14th on his YouTube channel, saying, "This is a photo taken when Instructor Logan was a victim of bodycam phishing in the past," and received criticism from netizens such as "This is secondary victimization of the victim," "Ruining one person's life," and "Isn't this a disclosure of a private citizen's privacy?"
