[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Bitcoin, the number one cryptocurrency by market capitalization, showed a slight decline in both domestic and international markets, recording 13.07 million KRW and 11,376 USD respectively.
According to the virtual currency exchange Bithumb on the 15th, as of 1:33 PM, Bitcoin was down 0.26% (34,000 KRW) from 24 hours earlier, recording 13.071 million KRW. Transactions worth 28.6 billion KRW took place during the day.
Other major cryptocurrencies also declined. Ethereum (-1.19%), Ripple (-1.69%), and EOS (-0.43%) all fell.
On the other hand, cryptocurrencies showed an upward trend in overseas markets. According to the cryptocurrency market data company CoinMarketCap, at the same time, Bitcoin was up 6.86% from 24 hours earlier, at 11,375.76 USD.
