This program was organized by the regional admission support centers established as a campaign pledge by Superintendent Jang Seok-woong and was prepared as part of a career and admission program that visits schools.
First, for students in island areas who have difficulty utilizing the visiting career and admission program due to long-distance issues, interview-related materials and personalized interview guidance for each student were provided in preparation for next year’s college early admission.
In particular, in the situation where face-to-face interview guidance was difficult due to COVID-19, attention was drawn by operating non-face-to-face video interviews using the video conferencing system established by the Provincial Office of Education.
Moreover, through various methods such as video interviews and uploading interview videos, detailed guidance was provided to students on speaking practice and camera gaze, increasing the satisfaction of participating students.
An official from the Provincial Office of Education said, “By providing personalized services to students in remote island areas who were experiencing many difficulties due to lack of college admission information, this became a meaningful support for all children in Jeonnam.”
