Seoul Reports 25 New COVID-19 Cases Yesterday... Additional Infections from Existing Clusters

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The number of new daily confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Seoul continues to stay in the 20s.
As of midnight on the 15th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul increased by 25 from the previous day, bringing the total cumulative number of confirmed cases to 5,632.
Except for 33 cases on the 6th and 31 cases on the 11th, the daily new confirmed cases in Seoul have been in the range of 10 to 20 every day this month.
On this day, one additional case was reported in each of the existing clusters: Danah Hospital in Dobong-gu (cumulative 65 cases), a funeral hall in Seodaemun-gu (cumulative 15 cases), and a family-related cluster in Dongjak-gu (cumulative 7 cases). In addition, there were 3 cases related to overseas contact, 12 cases classified as "others" combining previous clusters and sporadic cases, and 7 cases under investigation for infection routes.
So far, 5,055 people in Seoul have been declared recovered and discharged, while 511 are currently undergoing isolation treatment.
