Korea Airports Corporation to Hire 78 New Employees in Second Half of 2020
106 Hired in the First Half of the Year, Followed by 78 More in the Second Half
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Korea Airports Corporation (KAC) will conduct an open recruitment for new employees in the second half of this year.
According to Korea Airports Corporation on the 15th, the recruitment fields for new employees in the second half of this year include nine areas: administration, computer science, civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications and electronics, airport safety, and security screening supervision, with a total of 78 positions available.
More than 30% of the recruitment will be conducted through special selection for persons with disabilities and employment support candidates (national veterans). In addition, the hiring of socially equitable talents will be significantly expanded by giving preference to non-metropolitan area talents and basic livelihood security recipients.
Applications will be accepted for 12 days from the 16th to the 27th on the corporation's recruitment website. For the written and interview tests, the guidelines of the Central Disease Control Headquarters' 'Test Quarantine Management Guide' will be applied in accordance with the COVID-19 situation. Korea Airports Corporation stated, "Following the recruitment of 425 people last year and 106 people in the first half of this year, we plan to additionally hire 78 people in the second half to actively respond to the deepening youth unemployment caused by the impact of COVID-19 and the government's job creation policy."
