Timon "Sold 140,000 Masks in 100 Seconds"
Performance Results of the Second-Based Flash Sale Store '100cho Attack' Revealed
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] TMON (CEO Lee Jin-won) announced on the 14th that its ultra-second flash sale store '100-Second Attack' has established itself as one of the representative time-commerce stores by showing various achievements over about a year.
Following the launch of the minute-based '10-Minute Attack' last December, TMON introduced the second-based store '100-Second Attack.' 100-Second Attack is a store that sells ultra-discounted products for only 100 seconds, presenting two products every day at 9 a.m. The popularity is attributed to the opportunity to purchase special products at low prices within a limited time.
The records set by 100-Second Attack over about a year are diverse. According to TMON, the product with the highest sales volume among those offered in 100-Second Attack so far is the 'Triple-layer Disposable Mask for Midsummer,' with approximately 140,000 units sold in just 100 seconds. This means 1,400 masks were sold per second.
The fastest sold-out product was the 'Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer,' which sold out all stock in 9 seconds. The 'Apple iPad Pro 2nd Generation 11-inch WIFI Space Gray 128GB' product recorded 13 seconds. Other sold-out products include ▲ Hanwha Aqua Planet Ilsan Special Time Ticket ▲ Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus Bluetooth Earphones ▲ Thirsty Monk 10,000 KRW Free Pass, among others.
The characteristic of 100-Second Attack is that the purchase of discounted products must be completed within the limited time. All processes including product selection and payment must be completed within 100 seconds to succeed in purchasing. The products for 100-Second Attack are revealed in advance every midnight. On the 15th at 9 a.m., the 100-Second Attack will open with a 100,000 KRW gift certificate usable like cash at the complex cultural space 'Urban Terrace' in Gwanggyo Lotte Outlet, sold for 49,900 KRW. A collection of luxury cosmetics will also be sold for 9,900 KRW.
