7-Eleven Launches Winter National Item 'Fleece Vest'
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Seven Eleven announced on the 14th that following last year's industry-first launch of the ‘Lightweight Padding Vest,’ it will offer a limited sale of the ‘Fleece Vest’ this fall.
The Seven Eleven ‘Fleece Vest’ is a lightweight and highly insulating product suitable for winter use, featuring a soft texture made from fleece fabric. It has a mock neck design (a design that covers the neck halfway) to keep the neck warm, and includes hidden pockets for practical use.
The ‘Fleece Vest’ can be worn from early autumn through midwinter and can be styled in various ways. It is a unisex product released in the basic color beige and is available in two sizes: Medium (M) and Large (L). The price is 19,900 KRW.
Additionally, from the 21st, the ‘Padded Scarf’ (19,900 KRW) will also be sold. It is a lightweight, highly insulating product with excellent resilience. Furthermore, the ‘Lightweight Padding Vest’ (29,900 KRW), which was first introduced last year in collaboration with Namyoung Vivian, will be re-released, along with a total of eight winter cold-weather items including cold protection masks, neck warmers, and foldable ear muffs.
In particular, last year’s ‘Lightweight Padding Vest’ was popular in stores located in outer areas. An analysis of sales proportions by commercial district for the ‘Lightweight Padding Vest’ during last winter season (October to December) showed that drive-in commercial districts located along suburban national roads near fishing spots and coastal areas accounted for the highest share at 28.4%. Seven Eleven analyzed that there was high demand from customers urgently seeking outerwear due to cold weather during outdoor activities.
