Lotte Food Launches Two Types of Frozen Ready Meals 'Shefood Grilled Jumeokbap'
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] A convenient rice ball product that can be easily eaten for busy breakfasts or children's snacks has been released.
On the 14th, Lotte Foods announced the launch of two types of frozen convenient rice balls, "Shefood Grilled Rice Balls," which can be easily prepared in a microwave oven.
Shefood Grilled Rice Balls are made by baking in an oven at over 200°C, resulting in a chewy exterior and moist interior with the flavor of scorched rice. The rice balls are composed with a balanced mix of rice, meat, and vegetables to enjoy a rich taste.
Each pack contains two individually wrapped 100g rice balls, allowing you to heat only the amount you need and eat conveniently with one hand, embodying the concept of "one-hand meal." They can be prepared in just 2 minutes in the microwave, making them easy to prepare for a light breakfast or children's snack on busy mornings.
Shefood Grilled Rice Balls are available in two varieties: "Grilled So-bulgogi Rice Ball" and "Grilled Jeonju Bibim Rice Ball." Both use direct-fire cauldron-cooked rice designed by a professional rice sommelier to achieve a sticky texture. Notably, they are made with freshly harvested Korean rice cooked in water infused with seven kinds of fruits and vegetables, giving a deep flavor.
The Grilled So-bulgogi Rice Ball is made with five kinds of vegetables and so-bulgogi stir-fried in a special sauce. It combines Korean freshly harvested rice, clean Australian beef, carrot, onion, shiitake mushroom, burdock, Cheongyang chili pepper, and garlic, making it a unique snack. The Grilled Jeonju Bibim Rice Ball is made with seven kinds of bibim vegetables, special gochujang sauce, and stir-fried bulgogi. It is filled with various ingredients such as Korean freshly harvested rice, domestic pork, Korean kimchi, bellflower root, bean sprouts, carrot, chwinamul, garlic, and green onion, offering a rich taste.
