Dongdaemun-gu decided to renovate the existing Janggi Rest Area on the embankment walkway of Jungnangcheon Stream due to its limited space and lack of a proper name.
Accordingly, the district expanded the space by installing wooden decks and named it the ‘Cherry Blossom Path Senior Rest Area.’
The Cherry Blossom Path Senior Rest Area features a 75㎡ wooden deck equipped with outdoor tables, chairs, and rain shelters to allow more people to enjoy leisure activities in a comfortable environment.
