Gimcheon City Reopens Auto Camping Site, Museum, and Park with "Dedicated Quarantine Personnel Assigned"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gimcheon City in Gyeongbuk announced that starting from the 13th, six tourist facilities in the city will operate normally as the quarantine system is adjusted to social distancing level 1.
The facilities reopening this time are Gimcheon City Museum, Gimcheon World Ceramic Museum, Gimcheon City Art Museum, Samyeongdaesa Park (accommodation building, traveler center), Gimcheon Buhang Dam San-naedeul Auto Camping Site, and Jeungsan Water Supply Valley Camping Site.
Gimcheon City took measures to ensure there is no inconvenience to tourists by conducting prior inspections of the facilities for normal operation. Dedicated personnel for quarantine and management of tourist sites were hired and assigned to places such as Samyeongdaesa Park and Gimcheon City Museum.

A Gimcheon City official stated, "Through improving quarantine and capacity readiness at tourist sites, we have created a safe travel environment from COVID-19," adding, "As Gimcheon is widely known as a healing tourism city, the number of tourists visiting Gimcheon is expected to increase further during the autumn season."
