People Power Party Visits to Protest Manipulation of Naver News and Shopping Algorithms
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The People Power Party's Special Committee on Portal Fairness Measures announced that it will pay a protest visit to Naver on the 14th to question the company about recent allegations of manipulation in shopping and news search algorithms.
Members of the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee from the party, including Seong Il-jong, Kang Min-guk, Yoon Doo-hyun, Yoon Jae-ok, Yoon Chang-hyun, and Lee Young, as well as members of the Science, Technology, Information and Broadcasting Communications Committee, Kim Young-sik, Park Dae-chul, Jeong Hee-yong, Jo Myung-hee, and Heo Eun-ah, will participate in the protest visit to Naver.
