Galaxy S20 FE Touch Recognition Error... Samsung "SW Update"
Touch and Scroll Recognition Errors Raised
Samsung Electronics "SW Update Completed"
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Users are increasingly complaining that the touch recognition on the Galaxy S20 FE display is not working properly.
On the 12th (local time), multiple posts appeared on the Samsung Community Forum and Reddit reporting issues where tapping the Galaxy S20 FE display does not register or is recognized as a swipe.
Some Galaxy S20 FE users claimed that the display does not recognize touches or misinterprets inputs. One user on the Samsung Community Forum pointed out, "Even when I don't input anything, it tries to swipe on its own, and scrolling is not recognized unless I use my thumb."

He said, "It seems to be a problem with the touchscreen driver," adding, "The same issue occurred on my sister's and father's phones."
Since the Galaxy S20 FE was released overseas before Korea, users abroad raised concerns about touchscreen accuracy issues. The touchscreen malfunction is presumed to be a software defect, and Samsung Electronics is aware of the problem and is responding to it.
