Triangle Kimbap to Be Used as a Donation Platform for the Population and Housing Census
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Convenience store triangular kimbap will be utilized as a platform for the Population and Housing Census by Statistics Korea and consumer donation participation.
GS25 has partnered with Statistics Korea to operate the 'National Representative Tuna Crisis Triangular Kimbap' product, which features a QR code printed on it that allows participation in the '2020 Population and Housing Census' survey until the end of November.
The National Representative Tuna Crisis Triangular Kimbap is a product that embodies the meaning of ‘representativeness’ by combining the 20% of Korean households selected as samples for the Population and Housing Census survey and GS25’s top-selling triangular kimbap, the Tuna Mayo Triangular Kimbap.
The National Representative Triangular Kimbap also serves as a customer participation donation platform. Customers who purchase the product and accumulate GS&POINT membership points receive donation stamps through The Pop mobile app. When customers use the donation stamps, 500 won is collected as a donation, and the customer is also given a GS25 mobile gift certificate worth 500 won.
The National Representative Triangular Kimbap is operated with a limited quantity of 170,000 units, and the donations collected through this will be donated as relief funds for agricultural and fishing villages affected by this summer’s floods.
