Ashley and Jayeonbyeolgok to Resume Operations at All Stores
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Buffet brands operated by E-Land Eats, including Ashley, will resume operations on Tuesday, the 13th, at all stores after the suspension of business.
Following the easing of social distancing to Level 1, all 150 buffet brand stores nationwide, including E-Land Eats' Ashley, Jayeon Byeolgok, Pizza Mall, and Roun, will fully reopen. This marks the reopening of all buffet brand stores 57 days after the assembly ban order was issued in August.
Stores resuming operations, having been closed for a long period, focused on disinfection and hygiene management on the 12th, prioritizing these tasks and conducting activities such as ingredient management to prepare for business. From the opening on the 13th, general customers will be able to use the stores.
An E-Land Eats official said, "During the suspension period, we worked hard to create an environment where customers can safely enjoy better menus," adding, "Even in difficult times, we will thoroughly manage store disinfection and employee hygiene for customers who visit our stores."
To celebrate the reopening, Ashley, E-Land Eats' flagship brand, will hold a reopening event starting from the 14th. Customers who present the event image and use the salad bar with two or more adults will receive a brownie whole cake worth 12,900 KRW, given to the first 10 groups per store each day on a first-come, first-served basis. Other benefits include one free children's salad bar per child, unlimited draft beer, two free aides, and a half-price special on Ashley’s character Omongsae vintage glass, among various other offers.
Meanwhile, Ashley plans to focus on disinfection and hygiene management after reopening to create a safe store environment as part of its offline strategy. Additionally, as part of its post-COVID strategy, it will expand delivery services so customers can enjoy a rich buffet menu at home. Ashley Home Buffet Delivery includes Ashley’s signature dishes such as steak, pork ribs, pasta, and at least eight buffet menu items in a set.
