Suncheon City Provides 'COVID-19 Health Management Allowance for Pregnant Women'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City (Mayor Heo Seok) is providing 200,000 KRW per person as COVID-19 health management support for pregnant women, who are vulnerable to COVID-19 infection, to ensure healthy childbirth.
The support targets residents of Suncheon City confirmed to be pregnant between September 24 and October 16, and either the pregnant woman herself or her spouse can apply.
In-person applications can be made until the 16th at the Maternal and Child Health Room on the first floor of the Suncheon City Health Center, and online applications are available for five days from October 12 to 16 through the Suncheon City website. For applications by registered mail, the postmark on the application must be dated by the deadline of October 16, and the required documents should be sent to the Health Project Division of the Suncheon City Health Center.
The required documents include the application form for pregnant women's health management support, a resident registration abstract, documents verifying pregnancy such as a pregnancy confirmation certificate or maternal handbook, and a copy of the bankbook in the name of the pregnant woman. If the spouse is applying, a family relation certificate or marriage certificate must be additionally submitted.
No additional applications will be accepted after the application period ends, and the COVID-19 pregnant women's health management support cannot be combined with other emergency disaster relief funds such as the special child care support fund.
