Kia Motors Launches 2021 K7 Model... Prices Range from 32.44 Million to 40.32 Million KRW
Custom Grill Added · Two New Exterior Colors Applied
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Kia Motors launched the 2021 model of the enhanced mid-to-large sedan K7 on the 12th. The 2021 K7 features a newly designed radiator grille and the application of customer-preferred specifications as standard.
Kia added a ‘custom grille’ that evokes the powerful takeoff of an airplane by repeatedly applying a pattern inspired by aircraft wings based on the signature embossed radiator grille. Additionally, two new exterior colors, Steel Gray and Interstellar Gray, were introduced. Customer-preferred convenience features such as the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), Shift-By-Wire (SBW) electronic shift lever, paddle shifters, and a high-performance air purification filter were also applied as standard on both gasoline and hybrid models to enhance product appeal.
The 2021 K7 is newly equipped with Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist ? Junction Turning (FCA-JT), which automatically assists braking when a collision risk is detected with an oncoming vehicle while making a left turn at an intersection. Furthermore, the voice recognition vehicle control range has been expanded, allowing drivers to open and close windows by voice command and to turn on and off seat and steering wheel heating and ventilation functions.
Kia improved Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) by increasing the thickness of the rear glass and the sound-absorbing area of the driver’s wheel guard to enhance ride comfort and driving performance. In addition, through Kia’s customization brand Tuon, a rear-seat entertainment system capable of media viewing such as DMB and movies is available for installation in the back seats.
The price of the 2021 K7 is set at 32.44 million to 35.24 million KRW for the gasoline 2.5 model, 36.13 million to 38.19 million KRW for the gasoline 3.0 model, and 36.39 million to 40.32 million KRW for the hybrid model.
Moreover, Kia prepared various purchase support financial programs to coincide with the launch of the 2021 K7. These include the 1-2-3 Smart Low-Interest Installment Service, which offers a minimum 1.0% low interest rate or an installment period of up to 60 months, and a Double Cashback event that provides a 300,000 KRW vehicle discount and 300,000 KRW cashback to customers who pay over 15 million KRW with the Red Members exclusive card and use Save Auto.
