The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office began questioning Kim Hani, who first raised the allegations, around 1:30 PM on the 8th, investigating the circumstances when she worked at the Korea Future Development Institute (Miraeyeon) in 2011.
At the time, Rep. Yoon was serving as the head of planning at Miraeyeon, and Kim was a full-time employee responsible for accounting tasks. Kim claimed that in May 2011, under Yoon's instructions, she opened a pseudonymous bank account in her name and received tens of millions of won in local government service fees for Miraeyeon through 'undocumented transactions.' She also revealed that after the pseudonymous account was opened, Yoon arbitrarily created borrowings and received a total of about 22.88 million won.
Additionally, Kim stated that under Yoon's orders, she was registered as an intern at the office of then-Assemblyman Baek Won-woo and received a salary from the National Assembly Secretariat for five months despite not actually working.
