Creating content through direct planning and editing... Motivating through content screenings, completion ceremonies, and awards... Contributing to local economic revitalization and cultural diffusion with Seocho-gu youth's unique content production
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seocho-gu (Mayor Eunhee Jo) will operate the 2nd term of the One-Person Creator College course from the 10th to help young people with employment and entrepreneurship and to revitalize the local economy, which has been struggling due to COVID-19.
The district has been leading customized vocational education projects that connect talent development to employment by implementing various future education projects such as Blockchain College, AI College Youth Internships, and AI Data Labeling to prepare young people for jobs in the 4th Industrial Revolution era.
Among them, the ‘One-Person Creator College for Youth,’ which has received particularly favorable reviews, has established itself as a representative college program by recruiting the 2nd term this time. More applicants applied than in the 1st term, and it will be offered again next year to provide practical help for youth employment and entrepreneurship.
This course is designed to cultivate various media literacy skills suitable for the one-person social media era and involves producing media content based on Seocho-gu’s local resources.
The training course is divided into a basic education course and an advanced education course. First, the basic education course is a process where participants plan, shoot, and edit content on topics of interest themselves, producing one piece of content per individual.
The training period consists of six sessions over four weeks, starting with the inauguration ceremony on October 10 and ending on October 31.
Afterward, the advanced education course involves planning consulting, practical shooting, and editing, resulting in the production of two pieces of content per individual.
The training period runs for five weeks from November 1 to November 28, with five sessions, concluding with a content screening and graduation ceremony on the last day.
The unique content produced during the course will be exposed through various media to revitalize the local economy and expand Seocho-gu’s branding. All produced content will be available on the YouTube channel ‘Seocho-gu Creator.’
Additionally, a modest production fee will be provided during content creation.
Furthermore, among the basic course participants, 10 will be selected separately to proceed to the advanced education course, and outstanding creators will be selected and awarded at the graduation ceremony.
