Seocho District Council Opens the 300th Extraordinary Session
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] The Seocho District Council (Chairperson Kim Ansook) will hold the 300th extraordinary session for eight days from the 7th to the 14th.
In her opening remarks, Chairperson Kim Ansook stated, "Over the past 30 years, 83 council members have conducted a total of 878 plenary sessions, 2,700 committee meetings, and administrative audits to work as public servants for the happiness of the residents and to make Seocho a better place to live. Let us all strive together so that the 8th council will meet the expectations of the residents and be remembered for sincere legislative activities."
During the first plenary session, Vice Chairperson Choi Jong-bae made a 5-minute free speech regarding the location selection of the sewage treatment plant in Gwacheon City. The council also processed the partial amendment ordinance on the disclosure of Seocho District’s business promotion expenses and the partial amendment ordinance on the establishment and operation of the Seocho District Building Safety Special Account.
