The meeting was attended by 11 provincial assembly members, including Shim Sang-dong, Chair of the Council Steering Committee, Kim Young-jin, Chair of the Planning and Administration Committee, and Song Soon-ho, Chair of the Education Committee. From Changwon City, Mayor Heo and 12 senior officials participated.
Mayor Heo identified the main projects targeted for securing provincial subsidies next year as ▲ establishment of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system ▲ construction of the Changwon-style Food Integrated Support Center ▲ environmental improvement projects for Bonggok and Sodap Markets ▲ ecological stream restoration project for Sapa Soha Stream ▲ construction of a Pet Support Center ▲ establishment of the Changwon Independence Movement Memorial Hall ▲ construction of the Changwon Democracy Hall ▲ creation of a public parking lot for freight trucks in Naeseo-eup ▲ construction of Jinhae Cultural Center and Open Library ▲ installation of landscape lighting on Daejukdo Island.
The estimated cost for these 12 projects is approximately 56.3 billion KRW.
