Jinju-si Opens Applications for Emergency Livelihood Support Project for COVID-19 Crisis Households

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 5th that it will promote an emergency livelihood support project targeting low-income crisis households that do not receive benefits from existing welfare systems or COVID-19 damage support projects, in accordance with the government's 4th supplementary budget.
The eligible recipients are households with a decrease in income of 25% or more due to COVID-19 related unemployment, temporary closure, or business suspension, with a standard median income of 75% or less and assets of 350 million KRW or less. Households that have received government support programs are excluded.
Online applications can be submitted by the head of the household through Bokjiro from October 12 to 30, and on-site applications through the local eup/myeon offices and dong administrative welfare centers can be made by the head of the household, household members, or representatives from October 19 to 30.
When submitting the application, a consent form for providing personal information including household members and documents proving income reduction must be submitted together with the application form.
The payment amount is based on the resident registration electronic information as of September 9 this year, with 400,000 KRW for a single-person household, 600,000 KRW for a two-person household, 800,000 KRW for a three-person household, and 1,000,000 KRW for households of four or more.
