Sejong Center Disney Animation Film Concert
November 21-22 at Sejong Center Main Theater
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, in collaboration with Credia Music & Artist Co., Ltd., will hold the 2020 Film Concert Series '2020 Disney in Concert - A Dream is a Wish.'
The film concert is a performance where audiences can watch Disney animation videos while listening to an orchestra of more than 60 musicians at the Sejong Center's Grand Theater. The videos are displayed on an overwhelmingly large LED screen, accompanied by a large-scale orchestra performing Disney animation music. The grand accompaniment is enhanced by dazzling lighting choreography and songs performed by Disney Concert Singers active on Broadway.
Sejong Center for the Performing Arts first introduced the film concert stage last year with the 'Harry Potter Cine Concert.' This time, '2020 Disney in Concert' vividly conveys the emotions of Disney's representative masterpieces such as 'The Little Mermaid,' 'Cinderella,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' 'The Lion King,' and 'Aladdin.' New songs from 'Frozen 2' will also be presented for the first time.
'Disney in Concert' tours famous venues worldwide including the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Qatar, delivering Disney's dreams and hopes through music. In Korea, the original production 'Disney in Concert' made its first visit during the Credia Park Concert held at Olympic Park's Lawn Square in 2014.
