KOSPI at 2310 and KOSDAQ Index at 830 Amid Rebound Buying Pressure
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] The domestic stock market continued its rebound on the afternoon of the 28th.
As of 1:28 PM that day, the KOSPI recorded 2311.65, up 1.44% from the previous trading day. During the session, it rose as high as 2314.56.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics (1.21%), NAVER (2.20%), Samsung Biologics (1.93%), Hyundai Motor (2.94%), and Kakao (5.41%) rose, while SK Hynix (-0.60%) and LG Chem (-0.64%) declined.
By investor type, individuals sold stocks worth 120.9 billion KRW, while foreigners and institutions net bought stocks worth 35.2 billion KRW and 82.0 billion KRW, respectively.
The KOSDAQ index rose 2.72% from the previous trading day to 830.27.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Celltrion Healthcare (0.91%), Seegene (1.80%), HL Biopharma (2.64%), Alteogen (2.92%), and Celltrion Pharm (8.03%) increased.
