Operation of Integrated Overseas Call Center for Small and Medium ICT·SW Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 27th that it will promote the operation of an integrated overseas call center for small and medium-sized information and communication technology (ICT) and software (SW) companies in collaboration with the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
This initiative aims to resolve companies' difficulties in responding to inquiries from local clients due to time differences and language barriers. The integrated overseas call center, provided through eight overseas IT support centers operated by NIPA and KOTRA, will primarily receive requests from local clients of domestic small and medium ICT and SW companies and relay them to the domestic companies. The eight locations are Singapore, Vietnam, India, the United States, China, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, and Mexico.
Companies wishing to apply for the service can contact and register with NIPA or KOTRA according to the application region, and the primary registration period is until October 23.
