View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] The NongHyup Seoul Regional Headquarters announced on the 24th that it will promote the project of installing signboards for "Delicious Rice Hometown Restaurants" as part of the "Rice Consumption Promotion and Revitalization of Self-Employed Project."
This project was prepared to support self-employed individuals struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to support rural areas and farmers by promoting the consumption of domestic rice, thereby stabilizing rice prices during the harvest season.
The first "Delicious Rice Hometown Restaurant" was selected as "Myeongin Bapsang," located on Songi-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul, and a signboard ceremony was held with the attendance of Lee Daeyeop, head of NongHyup Seoul Regional Headquarters, and Lee Hanjong, chairman of Songpa NongHyup.

Head Lee Daeyeop also emphasized, "Although these are difficult times for everyone, we will do our utmost to provide hope to farmers and the self-employed through honest and reliable supply and promotion of our rice."
