Timon Introduces 'Remote Hiring System'... Interviews, Onboarding, and Department Placement All Non-Face-to-Face
Ongoing MD Recruitment for All Sales Categories Including Electronics and Furniture
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] TMON (CEO Lee Jin-won) announced on the 24th that it will officially introduce the 'Online Hiring System,' which conducts the entire hiring process?from interviews and onboarding to work?non-face-to-face.
This is TMON's new hiring policy aimed at reducing uncertainties in recruitment amid the COVID-19 pandemic and securing necessary talent in a timely manner. TMON explained that the system is designed not only to conduct interviews remotely but also to enable immediate online department placement and work assignments when telecommuting is implemented after hiring.
Applicants submit their resumes through the TMON recruitment website, and if they pass the document screening, they proceed to one-on-one video interviews. After all stages are completed online and final hiring is confirmed, if the company is implementing telecommuting on the joining date, the necessary IT equipment is shipped directly to the employee's home to enable work. In early September, TMON piloted the Online Hiring System during a company-wide telecommuting period and successfully hired four new employees, who were immediately assigned to their departments and began work without adjusting their start dates.
Going forward, TMON plans to flexibly apply its unique hiring policies, such as the 'Rolling Recruitment System,' which allows hiring in as little as one week, alongside the 'Online Hiring System,' to minimize inconvenience for applicants and actively secure outstanding talent. Currently, TMON is conducting rolling recruitment for product planners (MD) across all sales categories, including home appliances and furniture. Additionally, it continuously recruits experienced professionals in various fields such as development, planning, and back office. To allow excellent talent to apply at any time, TMON also operates a talent pool. Regardless of recruitment periods or stages, applicants can register their skills and areas of expertise, and when demand arises in suitable departments, they are contacted first and proceed with the hiring process.
