Martial Arts, 'Digital Innovation Forum' for CEOs 운영
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) is operating a 'Digital Innovation Forum' for CEOs to support its member companies' digital transformation (Digital Transformation).
KITA will first select seven small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies to operate the '1st Digital Innovation Forum' eight times from September to December this year, with plans to expand it in the future. The forum will be attended by company CEOs and executives in charge of innovation, who will discuss the necessity and methodology of digital innovation, key industry-specific innovation cases, and company-level implementation plans with related experts.
Participants in the first session include KITA Chairman Kim Young-joo, Meta Biomed Chairman Oh Seok-song, Exicon Chairman Choi Myung-bae, Omni System Chairman Park Hye-rin, Han Youngnux Chairman Han Young-soo, Seaz Global Chairman Kim Joo-in, KOSDAQ Association Chairman Jung Jae-song, Import Association Chairman Hong Kwang-hee, as well as executives from each company.
At the first forum held on the 16th, The Invention Lab CEO Kim Jin-young presented on the concept of digital transformation in the era of COVID-19, new trends responding to changes, global supply chain management, and customer experience-centered product planning methods. Afterwards, discussions were held among attendees regarding the forum operation plan.

Kwon Do-gyeom, Director of Policy Cooperation at KITA, said, "Although the trend of digital transformation (DT) has accelerated due to COVID-19, many traditional companies have not implemented it due to a lack of related personnel, information, and technology. Through this forum, we hope traditional companies will learn how to innovate their business models through digital transformation and proactively respond to changes in the industrial paradigm."
