Hanwha Solutions Chemical Division, 1st Anniversary of Digital Transformation 추진
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] Hanwha Solutions announced on the 20th that its Chemical Division held a 'Digital Innovation Vision Sharing Ceremony' to mark the first anniversary of its Digital Transformation initiative.
CEO Lee Gu-young and employees from all business sites participated in the event live via YouTube on the 17th. At the event, all employees shared the achievements of the digital transformation and future plans.
CEO Lee emphasized, "This year marks the first year of transitioning to digital data-based work, and for the digital innovation we have prepared over the past year to take root, everyone's participation is more important than anything else," adding, "The petrochemical industry must boldly change the way it works based on digital data."
Since last year, Hanwha Solutions' Chemical Division has been pursuing digital transformation with a three-year plan under the banner of 'ACT (Agile Change & Transformation) Digital.'
This year, all work systems were converted to cloud-based platforms, and Robotic Process Automation systems were introduced to automate repetitive tasks.
Additionally, the company introduced customer management systems using mobile devices and improved work efficiency through big data and artificial intelligence (AI)-based analytical techniques.

Hanwha Solutions stated, "From 2023, when the digital transformation is completed, work productivity is expected to be enhanced by approximately 20 billion KRW annually."
