(CEO Yang Gwanghun), a new material development company, will participate in the ‘2020 Youth Science and Technology Job Fair’ hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT until the 7th of next month.
The Ministry of Science and ICT’s job fair this time is conducted as a non-face-to-face, customized recruitment process using online platforms to support youth employment in response to changes in the job market caused by COVID-19.
A total of 192 technology innovation companies, including excellent technology companies contributing to solving recent national issues such as 4th industrial revolution companies, SoBuJang companies (materials, parts, and equipment), and companies designated as specialized research personnel, will participate and plan to hire about 1,000 people.
ProApTech Co., Ltd., participating from GIST, is a GIST alumni company developing next-generation sustained-release protein drugs using site-selective albumin binding technology.
Recently, it is developing an injectable treatment for refractory chronic gout that can safely and effectively treat chronic nodular gout, due to the explosive increase in gout patients domestically and internationally.
PurifyTechno Co., Ltd. received technology transfer from GIST, established a research institute company, and is manufacturing and developing various products such as nanofiber filters and EMI separators through electrospinning methods, aiming to become a global company.
The opening ceremony of the fair will be held online via YouTube live video. It provides honest experience sharing from current mentors and employment know-how from HR managers to science and engineering youth seeking jobs.
In Part 1, the job talk show is set up as a space where youth can ask and answer questions in real-time about social life, job duties, and career paths through current mentors from Samsung Electronics, Naver Line, Hyundai Motor Company, Korea Electric Power Corporation, Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering, and Ilsin Wells.
In Part 2, the company briefing session will provide real-time information on the desired talent and interview know-how from HR representatives of LS ELECTRIC, Golfzon, RaonPeople, MarkAny, Medical Park, Eoflow, Rokit Healthcare, and InnoPiaTech.
Additionally, AI employment support and post-employment linkage services are provided to support customized recruitment according to the individual tendencies and capabilities of science and engineering youth.
Through customized company matching, the service easily recommends recruitment information from 192 companies that fit the individual’s tendencies and capabilities. For science and engineering youth unfamiliar with non-face-to-face interviews, AI-based mock interviews are provided to enhance confidence and strengthen employment capabilities.
GIST President Kim Gi-seon said, “Even in the situation where employment has become more difficult due to COVID-19, I hope that young science and technology professionals who will lead the future will turn this crisis into an opportunity with a stronger spirit of challenge than anyone else.”
