[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Shinhan Bank announced on the 14th that it was selected as the No. 1 company in the banking sector for four consecutive years in the '2020 National Brand Competitiveness Index (NBCI) survey' conducted by the Korea Productivity Center.
Shinhan Bank is the first in the banking sector to rank first in brand value surveys conducted by Korea's three major evaluation agencies for four consecutive years. In March, it ranked first in the banking sector for five consecutive years in the Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI) conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting, and in August, it ranked first in the banking sector for seven consecutive years in the Premium Brand Index (KS-PBI) conducted by the Korea Standards Association. This time, it also ranked first in the National Brand Competitiveness Index (NBCI), achieving a 'Triple Crown' for four consecutive years.
Shinhan Bank is leading the revitalization of the local economy by supporting financial and non-financial services for small business owners, self-employed individuals, and small and medium-sized enterprises struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), including ▲participation in the Good Consumer Movement ▲implementation of the 'Our Neighborhood Support Program,' which posts advertisements for small business owners free of charge in branches ▲and the 'Small Business Quick Settlement' service that supports short-term liquidity for small business owners.
The digital platform 'SOL,' evaluated as the best in the industry, surpassed 12 million subscribers, and the comprehensive asset management service 'My Asset' launched in October last year has exceeded 4.4 million users, being recognized by users as a customer-centered service.
