[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Bo-ryeong] Hyundai Industrial has started supplying parts for the new Tucson.
On the 14th, Hyundai Industrial announced that it has signed a supply contract for seat pads and armrest parts to be applied to Hyundai Motor's new Tucson and has begun mass production.
The new sales generated from this supply contract are estimated to be approximately 85.2 billion KRW over the next six years. The annual production scale is about 200,000 units, worth 14.2 billion KRW. This year, sales of 3.5 billion KRW have been secured in advance.

A Hyundai Industrial official explained, "Parts supply for eco-friendly vehicles such as Nexo and Ioniq, which will lead future trends like electric and hydrogen cars, is being carried out steadily," adding, "We expect additional growth momentum when new electric vehicle lineups are added."
