View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan Gijang-gun urgently formulated the 3rd supplementary budget on the 11th to overcome COVID-19 and recover from typhoon damage, and requested a special session of the Gijang-gun Council.
On the 7th, under the directive of the county governor, Gijang-gun cut all projects, festivals, events, education, and subsidies that could not be executed by the end of December this year due to COVID-19, and prepared a supplementary budget for recovery from the damage caused by Typhoon No. 9 ‘Maysak’ and Typhoon No. 10 ‘Haishen’.
Accordingly, the Gijang-gun Council plans to hold a ‘Council Operation Planning Committee during Recess’ on the 14th to decide the agenda for the special session to urgently allocate the supplementary budget for typhoon damage recovery.
Governor Oh Gyu-seok of Gijang-gun said, “I met with Council Chairman Kim Dae-gun of Gijang-gun at 12:50 PM today and shared the same intention and strength for the supplementary budget allocation.”
Chairman Kim said, “If it is for the prosperity of Gijang-gun and the happiness of Gijang residents, I will always help with anything. Let’s communicate frequently. I fully agree with the urgent supplementary budget allocation requested by Gijang-gun for typhoon damage recovery and will actively promote the special session for the approval of the supplementary budget,” he conveyed to Governor Oh.
