CJ O Shopping Expands New Product Launches in SME Free Broadcast '1 Company 1 Luxury Item'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] CJ ENM O Shopping Division announced on the 10th that its free broadcasting program for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), ‘1sa1myeongpum’ (One Company One Premium Product), will consecutively launch three new products this month. While it has consistently introduced about one new product per month, the plan is to increase the number of launches in the second half of this year. Amid the recent spread of COVID-19, which has worsened difficulties for small business owners and SMEs, 1sa1myeongpum is being praised as a major help.
1sa1myeongpum is a win-win program operated by CJ ENM O Shopping Division since 2012 to help SMEs develop sales channels. It supports SMEs with excellent products by providing sales and marketing services without charging commissions, helping them build self-sustainability. CJ ENM O Shopping Division regularly schedules 1sa1myeongpum broadcasts on TV home shopping for 30 minutes starting at 5:30 a.m., four times a week, and also runs 1sa1myeongpum on the T-commerce channel CJ O Shopping Plus and CJ Mall.
First, Mediccon’s BIO2 Air Mask will be introduced on CJ O Shopping’s 1sa1myeongpum. This product features an air purification device attached to the mask, allowing fresh air to be inhaled through a filter. The mask fabric uses lightweight and breathable air mesh to maintain comfort. Above all, it is a product developed with pure domestic SME technology, so it can be used with confidence.
Rucums’ mini washing machine and Upoui Achim’s whole-pressed aged pumpkin juice are also scheduled to launch at the end of this month. The mini washing machine is a small home appliance with a 3.2kg capacity designed for one- to two-person households and homes with babies, featuring a high-temperature boiling function at 90 degrees and 99.9% sterilization. Its sleek design and five-layer safety device are additional advantages. The pumpkin juice is a health food made from 100% domestically grown pumpkins cultivated on good soil. It uses only aged pumpkins, known to be more nutritious, and the juice is extracted using a low-temperature method at 50 degrees to minimize nutrient loss. It is sold in boxes containing 10 packs of 80ml each, with a total of 10 boxes per set.

CJ ENM O Shopping Division has also been operating ‘1chon1myeongpum’ (One Village One Premium Product), a free broadcast for rural enterprises, since 2007. This win-win program discovers excellent products from domestic rural enterprises and sells them without commission, broadcasting 30 minutes a day, three times a week. The cumulative broadcast time of the O Shopping Division’s representative win-win programs, 1sa1myeongpum and 1chon1myeongpum, exceeds 2,000 hours.
